One flat fee

$4,000 when your listing goes live. $4,000 when your home sells. $8,000 all up, everything included. No fine print. No surprises.

Commissions scale with house prices, not with the work involved. Celby is one flat fee — so on a $1m home, you keep around $27,000 more of what your house is worth.

FAQs

Everything you need to know about selling privately with Celby.

What does the $8,000 include?

Everything you need to sell: professional photography, for-sale signage, printed brochures, a Trade Me listing with portal syndication, a listing page on celby.co.nz, your guided dashboard and AI tools, and a property lawyer for the conveyancing. GST included.

When do I pay, and are there hidden fees?

Half when your listing goes live, half when your home sells — invoiced, with no surprises. Professional photography is included, not an add-on. The only optional extras are Trade Me upgrades (Silver +$300, Gold +$500), a building inspection at cost, or a LIM report if you don't have one.

Do you handle the legal side?

An experienced property lawyer handles your conveyancing as part of your $8,000 fee. Celby isn't a real estate agency — you're selling privately, with the right professionals around you. And always get advice from your own lawyer before signing anything.

How do buyers find my home?

Your home is listed on Trade Me, on celby.co.nz, and syndicated across other property portals. Add for-sale signage, open home signs, printed brochures and social templates, and your home is as visible as any agent-listed one on the street.

Can I negotiate offers myself?

Yes — you deal with buyers directly, and every decision is yours. Your dashboard helps you manage enquiries and compare offers, and our negotiation guidance is there when you want a second opinion. You negotiate, you decide.
